GENERAL RULES & LIMITATIONS:

— The contest is open to kids between 5 and 11 years of age.
— An adult and their kid must complete the entry form and consent release.
— One (1) entry per kid, per category will be accepted.
— All information must be submitted for the entry to be accepted.
— Photos submitted must adhere to the contest photo guidelines.
— Photos will be judged by a panel of professional photographers and designers.
— The decision of the judges is final.
— The prize has no cash value and may not be exchanged or bartered.
— Photos must be submitted in the highest quality possible and, when available, in their original file size and format.

— Official Kids Mag reserves the right to reject and entry.
— Official Kids Mag reserves the right to use in marketing materials without restriction in print, online and in social media channels.
— Upload images with the original pixel size (unless cropped). Do not scale and do not change the resolution.
— Must be uploaded in JPEG format with high quality compression. We will use winning images for high quality reproduction.
— Entrants must not infringe on the rights of any other photographer, landowner, or other persons.
— Photographs involving willful harassment of wildlife, destruction of habitat or property are unacceptable.
— Failure to comply with contest guidelines will lead to disqualification.
— Only entries uploaded and submitted via the entry web site will be accepted.

The small print:

By entering, you represent that: (i) your entry is your own original work; and (ii) you own or have the rights to convey any and all right and title in any material submitted as part of your entry into the contest. By entering, you grant to Official Kids Mag an exclusive, royalty-free license to edit, publish, promote, republish at any time in the future and otherwise use your submission, along with your name and likeness, in any and all media for any purpose, without further permission, notice or compensation (except where prohibited by law).

By participating in the contest, you agree to release Official Kids Mag and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, directors, officers, and agents from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for damages.

Official Kids Mag and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, directors, officers, and agents are not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures, or other errors or problems which may occur in connection with the contest, whether computer, network, technical, mechanical, typographical, printing, human or otherwise, including, without limitation, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the contest, the processing or judging of entries, the announcement of the prizes, in any contest-related materials, or that may limit prize fulfillment or a participant’s ability to enter the contest. Sponsor reserves the right to amend these official rules and to permanently disqualify from the Contest any person it believes has intentionally violated these official rules.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All photos must accurately reflect the subject matter as it appeared in the viewfinder. Nothing should be added to an image, and aside from dust spots, nothing should be taken away. Normal processing of RAW image files and minor adjustments to color and contrast are acceptable, as is minimal cropping. HDR and focus stacking are permitted as long as all manipulation is disclosed upon entry.

A valid email address for the adult parent is required to submit the contest entry.  Upon submission an email notification will be sent to the email address given in order to confirm parental consent.
